to Shamai Street
From the airport, take Highway # 1 to Jerusalem.
When you reach Jerusalem, keep going straight 2 stoplights. On the 3rd stoplight you will reach a fork in the road. Take the one that turns slightly to the left.
At the next traffic light bear right (almost straight). You are now on Shderot Zalman Shazar.
At the 2nd light, bear right to Shderot Hanasi Ben Zvi (do not make a full right turn). Turn left at the first light.
You are now on Bezalel Street. At the top of the hill, as you reach a fork, turn slightly left. You are on Ben Yehuda St. At the first light take the left lane. You are on Be’eri Street. Cross the light (you crossed King George St.). You are now on Hillel Street. Make the first left onto Histadrut Street and turn right again.
You are now on Shamai St. Number 12 Shamai Street is toward the end of the street on your right. Number 14 is in the little ally between building 12 and 16.
If you get lost
Just ask anyone where ‘McDonalds’ is in the City Center. McDonald’s is located at 2 Shamai Street, just up the street from the apartment.

These self-catered, fully furnished apartments are located in one of the best, central locations in Jerusalem — just a few steps from the hub of the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall and within walking distance to the Old City, Jewish Quarter, and the Western Wall (Kotel).
Stay at one of our holiday flats at 12 Shamai Street, and you’ll be within a 1 to 5 minute walk from most of Jerusalem’s downtown tourist attractions, including Jaffa Road (Jerusalem’s main street), the Nahalat Shiva neighborhood, City Hall, the Tourist Information Office, the Russian Compound, the Museum of Underground Prisoners, and the U. Nahon Museum of Italian Jewish Art.
In addition, walk out the door of your apartment and you’ll find shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, moneychangers, as well as street entertainment, where local residents and tourists all blend together for an enjoyable and exciting experience. You are also close to all the main city bus lines for reaching the rest of Jerusalem’s major attractions quickly and easily.

Both vacation apartments at 12 Shamai Street are situated on the third floor (with elevator) and can be adjoined and rented using 6 different configurations to fit your specific needs.
Option 1 (sleeps up to 7 people):
This is a 2-bedroom vacation apartment with a large living room, a large bedroom with space for an extra folding bed or baby crib, and a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds. There are one and a half baths with a shower (no bathtub) in the full bathroom. The apartment has 2 balconies.
Option 2 (sleeps up to 7 people):
This is a 2-bedroom vacation apartment with a large living room, a large bedroom with space for an extra folding bed or baby crib, and a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds. There are one and a half baths, with a shower (no bathtub) in the full bathroom. This apartment has no balconies.
Option 3 (sleeps up to 9 people):
This is a 3-bedroom apartment with a large living room, a large bedroom with space to place in an extra folding bed or baby crib, and 2 smaller bedrooms with 2 single beds in each. The apartment has 2 balconies. In the apartment there are 1 and a half bathrooms. In the full bathroom there is a shower (not bathtub).
Option 4 (sleeps up to 5 people):
This 1-bedroom apartment holiday flat has a large living room and large bedroom with space to place an extra folding bed or baby crib. The apartment has 1 and a half bathrooms. In the full bathroom there is a shower (no bathtub). This apartment has no balconies.
Option 5 (sleeps up to 14 people):
This option combines both apartments into one big apartment, with 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms (4 toilets and 2 showers). The apartment has 2 balconies.
Option 6 (sleeps up to 14 people):
Rent both vacation apartments at 12 Shamai Street as 2 separate units and configure the space according to your needs: Split the apartment for 2 bedrooms in each apartment, or 1 bedroom in one apartment, and 3 bedrooms in the other. Each unit has 1 full bathroom and a half bathroom (shower, no bathtub), and can sleep up to 7 people. When you rent both apartments together you can sleep up to 14 people.

Need to sleep more than 14 people? We own a 3-bedroom apartment in the next building at 14 Shamai Street. When renting all 3 apartments on Shamai Street, you can accommodate several families or a group of up to 23 people.
The apartments are a 10 minute walk from our Lincoln Street apartment. When renting all 4 apartments (3 apartments on Shamai Street and 1 apartment on Lincoln Street), you can accommodate several families or a group of up to 29 people.

Parking:
Street parking is available next to the building. Parking cards are required Sunday through Thursday between 08:00 – 18:00 and until 13:00 on Fridays. Parking is free from Friday 13:00 until Sunday 08:00.
Parking is free on Shabbat and Holidays. Parking cards may be purchased from machines located along the street.
It is also possible to park in any private parking lot near the building on a daily/monthly basis (weekly rates are not available). There are 8 parking lots in the area.
Free Parking:
Free parking is available behind the King David Hotel, approximately a 10 minutes walk from the apartment, This parking area has been free for the past few years, and we hope it stays free!
