to Shamai Street
From the airport, take Highway # 1 to Jerusalem.
When you reach Jerusalem, keep going straight 2 stoplights. On the 3rd stoplight you will reach a fork in the road. Take the one that turns slightly to the left.
At the next traffic light bear right (almost straight). You are now on Shderot Zalman Shazar.
At the 2nd light, bear right to Shderot Hanasi Ben Zvi (do not make a full right turn). Turn left at the first light.
You are now on Bezalel Street. At the top of the hill, as you reach a fork, turn slightly left. You are on Ben Yehuda St. At the first light take the left lane. You are on Be’eri Street. Cross the light (you crossed King George St.). You are now on Hillel Street. Make the first left onto Histadrut Street and turn right again.
You are now on Shamai St. Number 12 Shamai Street is toward the end of the street on your right. Number 14 is in the little ally between building 12 and 16.
If you get lost
Just ask anyone where ‘McDonalds’ is in the City Center. McDonald’s is located at 2 Shamai Street, just up the street from the apartment.

Apartment Location:
This fully furnished, self-catered 3-bedroom apartment is situated in one of the most central locations of Jerusalem — just a few steps from the hub of the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall. The modern, clean holiday flat is within a short walking distance to many of Jerusalem’s major tourist attractions, including the ancient walls of Jerusalem’s Old City, the Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall (Kotel).
You’ll be within a 1 to 5 minute walk from most of Jerusalem’s downtown tourist attractions, including Jaffa Road (Jerusalem’s main street) the Nahalat Shiva neighborhood, City Hall, the Tourist Information Office, the Russian Compound, the Museum of Underground Prisoners, and the U. Nahon Museum of Italian Jewish Art.
In addition, walk out the door of your apartment and you’ll find shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, money changers, and street entertainment, where local residents and tourists all blend together for an enjoyable and exciting experience. You are also close to all the main city bus lines for reaching the rest of Jerusalem’s major attractions.
Apartment Description:
This fully furnished 3-bedroom holiday flat sleeps up to 9 people and is situated on the first floor (20 stairs). It has a living room, 3 bedrooms – 1 large bedroom, a second bedroom and a third smaller bedroom; 1 full bathroom with shower (no bathtub) and a half bathroom.
The large bedroom includes a double bed with space for adding a baby cot (available at an additional cost) or an extra folding bed. The second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be separated. The smaller third bedroom also has 2 single beds. In the living room there is a pull out sofa that turns into a double bed.

Street parking is available next to the building. Parking cards are required Sunday through Thursday between 08:00 – 18:00 and until 13:00 on Fridays. Parking is free from Friday 13:00 until Sunday 08:00.
Parking is free on Shabbat and Holidays. Parking cards may be purchased from machines located along the street.
It is also possible to park in any private parking lot near the building on a daily/monthly basis (weekly rates are not available). There are 8 parking lots in the area.
Free Parking:
Free parking is available behind the King David Hotel, approximately a 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
This parking area has been free for the past few years, and we hope it stays free!

This holiday flat is located in the building next to our 2 apartments at 12 Shamai Street.
Rent all 3 apartments on Shamai Street, and you can accommodate several families or a group of up to 23 people.
Additionally, the vacation apartment is a 10 minute walk to our apartment on Lincoln Street.
Rent all 4 apartments (3 on Shamai Street and 1 apartment on Lincoln Street) to accommodate several families or a large group of up to 29 people.
